A sign in Rome, translation: Take courage Japan!
(in light of the recent earthquakes and tsunami)
The book in the middle is one of my absolute favorite children's books! And Prosciutto e uova verdi...excellent.
After we passed this store a couple times in the last few days, we realized that it's essentially an Italian Old Navy...the models in the window are the same, the clothes are pretty similar, and "Original Marines"? Yes, that's pretty close.
We went and found where the church is today...we're all so extremely excited for church in the Siena branch on Sunday!
Some of the candy here is the same as American candy, just with different wrappers. There are also lots of exciting Italian candies, and SO many types of kinder chocolates...mmm.
And I just thought this was funny...Cattivissimo Me.

In case you were wondering how to pronounce that Japanese sign, it's: nihon ganbare! (It's a command to Japan to be strong, like you said.) Looks like you're having tons of fun already! :)
ReplyDeleteinstead of eat, pray, love, I command you to eat, eat, EAT!! :D
