A few days ago, when I received the news about my summer in Italy, I filled this page with architectural doodles of some of the places I hope to see. I'm so excited to be surrounded by culturally and historically rich and significant places and events (I'll be in Siena for the Palio!!)

translation of the page above: I'm celebrating. I will be going to Italy this spring and summer for an internship!! I am so excited! (though this translation definitely loses the nuance of the -issimo suffix. shame.)
