I love how very rainy Paris was while I was there, and that some of these photos capture that lovely effect on the city.

(sculpture -- the Nike of Samothrace, which is one of my favorites)

Versailles (gorgeously opulent—ostentatious even—and enormous)

    your photos are fabulous! you are such a world traveler! and (as you mention in a pervious post) i understand the reverse culture shock. it happened to be too.
